The Good News: You’re Not Talented

The Gym Jones site has a great article by Scott Semple talking about athletes who are naturally talented and pointing out that their biggest talent may be a desire to dedicate themselves to their training.  Train harder than everyone else and you will be better than everyone else.

“People wish they had talent. They see it as a practice-free ticket to crowd-stunning skill. But talent doesn’t exist. “Talent” doesn’t get results; practice and devotion do.”

The good news is the only thing stopping you from beating out your peers is the will to work harder than everyone else.
