Double Unders Tip #1 – Faster Not Higher

Want to improve your double unders (and thus improve your time in a number of CrossFit WODs)? According to Paul Flores, who took 3rd in the Men’s Masters division at the 2010 CrossFit Games, one of the keys is to not jump higher but rather swinging the rope faster, and maintaining that speed throughout your double unders.  Take a look at the video below and you’ll notice Drew and Elyse are not jumping any higher than you would expect of someone doing singles.  Rope speed is the difference.  Give it a try and let us know how it works for you.
