Katie Hogan garnered a great write up on examiner.com. The article touches on a number of areas including her recent move to northern California, which places her in a new CrossFit Games region, her time spent training at Valley CrossFit, and her role as a, umm, “CrossFit Crush”:
…it would be almost disingenuous to write about Hogan and not mention that she has become part of a new generation of easy-on-the-eyes CrossFit athletes. With sculpted CrossFit athletes including Rich Froning, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, Julie Foucher, and Dan Bailey representing the “Strong is the new sexy” movement, Hogan has become of the sport’s biggest crushes.

Understood. I figure I’ll fololw Stronglifts (the 5 5 stuff) until I have to deload, then I’ll switch to 3 5 until I stop making gains entirely. At that point I will likely be satisfied with my strength progress (especially when it comes to back squats, presses, and pullups), and will cycle back into regular WODs. Does that sound reasonable enough?
