    Overview FuncThat.com is the unofficial guide to CrossFit and functional training.  This site is a collection of training tips and articles which are of interest to new and experienced CrossFitters.  Take a look around and feel free to leave a comment or send an email if you have some input on what you see here! About the Editor (aka Ed.) The bottom line is I’m just an average thirty-something guy/dad without enough time to make it into the gym anymore. Lucky for me I’m one of those skinny twerpy types who doesn’t have to worry much about what I eat and never seems to put on much weight so replacing my gym membership with a 30 minute run every few weeks was fine for me. This worked great for awhile until my once a year rock climbing trip with my little brother (“little” in age only, the punk is a good six inches taller than me) rolled around. On the second day of the trip, we started the hour long hike to the climbing area, with packs loaded with gear. After about 10 minutes I noticed my bro was trying to show off and started picking up the pace. Soon…
